    September 26-28, 2014 This weekend will immerse you in Permaculture living and learning at Quail Springs' permaculture farm and community.  We will cover the ethics and principles of Permaculture and strategies for implementation. You will leave this course with many examples of Permaculture in action and an understanding of how you can integrate permaculture into your home, farm, apartment or business.     Buckskin Moccasins

    Dates TBA - Winter/Spring 2014/2015 A WILD Series Workshop in Earth-Based Crafts and Skills Instructor: Natalie Bartlett Beautiful footwear made sustainably from natural materials has been worn by human beings for thousands of years. In this class students will create a pattern customized to their own feet, and learn to craft a pair of short moccasins using genuine brain-tanned buckskin and vegetable tanned leather. This will be a 2 piece style moccasin, with a harder sole for longer wear.
