Samantha Lynne Gupta has a Masters Degree in Divinity from Claremont School of Theology and is a Ph.D Candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Depth Psychology, specializing in Community Psychology, Liberation Psychology, and Ecological Psychology. She co-founded Child Leader Project, a transnational youth organization supporting youth-led community organizing circles in Southern California and South India. She also founded an office of community-based research for the University of California, a state-wide spiritual activist curriculum for the Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry, and currently serves as an interfaith chaplain in Los Angeles non-profits, jails, and prisons. Her doctoral research focuses on the development of anti-racist identity and culture repair.
