How to Visit Us

Where is Quail Springs?

We are located in the rural Cuyama Valley of California, one of the state’s most critically overdrafted water basins. Quail Springs resides on 450 acres of unceded Chumash land, surrounded by thousands of acres of Los Padres National Forest on three sides.

Visit us for a Farm Tour

The best way to visit Quail Springs is by attending one of our Farm Tours. We offer these tours late spring through fall and they are donation-based events.

Drop-by visitors

Visiting us takes a lot of planning. As much as we would love to host you, we cannot welcome drop-by visitors and volunteers. But as we mentioned above, you can attend one of our Farm Tours!

Quail Springs is a remote, off-grid site without cell reception, behind a series of locked gates on a 3 mile dirt driveway. This is to say, our capacity for hosting is limited and simply dropping by is not possible for us desert canyon folk. Also, we are located more than one hour from the nearest town with grocery stores, medical care and amenities.
